For those looking to master Spanish verb conjugations, Verbos offers a robust platform tailored for effective learning.

The application encompasses 89 forms for each Spanish verb. While it isn’t necessary to memorize all forms, proficiency in key tenses, particularly the present tense, is essential for communication.

Many Spanish learners utilize repetitive drilling as an effective method for mastering conjugations, and Verbos serves as a practical tool to facilitate this process. The user interface is straightforward; with a simple touch on the screen, users are presented with a new drill featuring a randomly selected infinitive, tense, and person/number (“yo,” “tú,” “él,” “ella,” etc.). Users can either verbalize their answers mentally or aloud, and upon touching the screen again, they receive immediate feedback, often with an auditory confirmation of the correct answer.

Verbos allows customization of drills from a selection of over 500 verbs available in the app. Users can choose to:

 <li>Focus on a single infinitive for targeted practice.</li>
 <li>Create tailored lists of verbs for systematic study; the app includes a "Top 20 Verbs" list as a starting point.</li>
 <li>Select specific tenses to drill; whether focusing solely on present tense or multiple tenses such as present, future, and preterite, users can adjust their drills accordingly.</li>
 <li>Concentrate on irregular verbs or limit practice to specific verb categories like “-ar” verbs.</li>
 <li>Focus on particular verb forms such as first person singular or other desired variations.</li>
 <li>Optimize drills for just regular "-ar" verbs in either present or preterite tenses and select specific person forms as needed.</li>
</ul>

This level of customization means users can hone in on precisely what they need, enhancing their learning experience significantly.

The app also includes a testing feature to evaluate progress, offering three types of assessments: timed tests, tests based on the number of verbs, or a combination of both. After completing a test, users receive a score and have the option to save results, thus tracking their improvement over time through a history of tests completed.

Additionally, users can compile and save multiple verb lists for focused study sessions. When employing these lists in drills, only the verbs within the selected group will be quizzed.

For comprehensive understanding and review, Verbos displays complete conjugations directly from the main drill screen as well as through selections in the Settings menu. A sample conjugation in English illustrates how each tense functions contextually.
